I am a conservationist, photographer, traveller, and scientist currently based in Berlin, Germany. Originally from Queensland, Australia, I grew up with a strong attachment to the natural world that naturally progressed into a passion for conservation at a young age.
With this love of the natural world, I pursued a Bachelor of Science and Masters of Research in biology and animal behaviour, respectively. This work has taken me into the field in many countries, including Namibia, Indonesia, and all across Australia.
My photography is built from the same passion and thus focusses heavily on the natural environment and animals within it. I am also interested in how humans interact with and shape the environment they live in, and how human-wildlife-nature coexistence will change with climate change.
Currently I am aiming to combine science with photography and storytelling to make science research more accessible, as well as help highlight the importance of sustainable and ethical living.
